GENTLE YOGA emphasizes gentle strength building, flexibility, and the use of the breath to relax, center your mind, and renew your spirit. We will focus on stretching and toning muscles that are often neglected but are important in keeping you healthy and flexible. Gentle Yoga is easy enough for beginners, seniors, and those with limited rage of motion, or for anyone wanting a good, deep stretch. Postures can be modified for all levels and through the use of yoga props (chairs, straps, blankets and blocks).
CHAIR YOGA is a great way to introduce yourself to yoga. Are you apprehensive that you will lose your balance trying yoga? Students find they can balance, strengthen and stretch more when using a chair for support. Chair yoga is an effective way to get all the benefits of yoga while enjoying the feeling of support and stability. In class, we will sit comfortably in chairs and focus on gently increasing the range of motion in individual bone and muscle groups. We'll
also do a few standing postures to help with strength and balance,
using the chairs for support. Breathing techniques will help reduce
stress and bring about deep relaxation.

YOGA FOR ALL LEVELS emphasizes movement, alignment, stretching and strengthening, combined with conscious breathing, to bring about a relaxed state of mind. Postures can be modified for all levels.
